At Helen Owen Marketing Enterprises (HOME) CIC are we are passionate about getting young people into work and want to do something about high unemployment rates amongst 18-24 year olds.
One of our strategies is to be pro-active in working with schools and other community groups in providing opportunities for them to learn and one of these groups is Community Stuff.
Community Stuff’s new Homework Group is held each evening at the Seaside Community Hub on 125 Seaside, Eastbourne and provides a quiet, safe and comfortable place to help them with their homework.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 18th April 2017 to 13th July 2017

Anyone under 16 years and living in East Sussex, Brighton or Hove can open a Young Savers account the East Sussex Credit Union and can save as little or as much as they need (25,000 maximum).
New Help Point at YMCA
The Help Point will take place every Wednesday from 12pm to 2pm and will run alongside Eastbourne’s Real Junk Food Project, Cafe Waste Not where food is intercepted destined for landfill and turned into delicious meals, prepared by volunteers and served on a Pay As You Are Able basis.
This collaboration means that young people and other local residents will be able to enjoy a freshly cooked meal, talk to other people, in addition to receiving help and support with their finances from East Sussex Credit Union.
Charlies is on 56 Seaside, Eastbourne and there is a local bus stop right outside.
